Further, issues such as Migration, Energy crisis, Climate change add new challenges and dimensions to geopolitical analysis. Geopolitical tensions tend to rise when the geographical and political factors frame the relations between the nations shift. A shift can be caused due to change of policies by succeeding governments, an act of terrorism or external aggression like war.
