DISPARITY IN DEMOGRAPHIC FEATURES IN LUCKNOW DISTRICT

Abstract

This study describes the demographic framework of Lucknow district. Population plays an important role in the development of any region. Various Characteristics of the population in this study have been shown such as population distribution, density, rural- urban distribution, population growth, population structure, Sex ratio and literacy. The main objective of this study is to highlight the disparity of population in Lucknow district. When the knowledge of all these facts only then the strategy of development can be created for the region. The level of disparity is too much is the district. On the one hand where the metropolitan region becoming highly developed day by day and on the second hand other blocks are not able to develop properly. The main reason is that the lack of basic facilities of human being in other region in comparison to metropolitan region. The main objective of this study is to highlight the disparity of population in Lucknow district, thereby a step can be taken towards eternal development of the region and the burden of population can be reduced in the metropolitan area.
