Abstract

Within the literature on sexuality, virginity is frequently treated as a social construction accompanied with moral policing. The concept is considered as fluid, as it comes with varied interpretations depending on various social constructions of different societies. Virginity is also seen within a large macro social context that includes components of broad sexual philosophy that offer to support these claims as well as prove that means and females adhere to the same sexual norms. Logical findings show that the post- modern society has accepted different framework, it is no more attached with strings of commitment. Having an intact hymen is no more a taboo.
